Modified NaNoWriMo

So, this year I am doing my own version of NaNoWriMo. I knew I could not put my life on hold like I practically did last year to get 50,000 words written. So, I set my own goal, one I felt would challenge me but not be too much. So the goal I'm working at it to double the word count in my Sleeping Beauty Spin-off. On October 31 I had 12,735 written. So, my goal is to have at least 25,470 words total by the end of the month. I'm doing pretty good. I've written anywhere from 0 to 1,133 words in a day, but I average around 500 words per day. I am happy with my progress and do believe I will reach my goal despite being busy and tired. I am enjoying working on this project again. It brings me happiness and I feel accomplished when I reach my daily goal.
